The Wren Hurricanes basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Fountain Inn Fury to 62 in the Hurricanes league victory on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christ Church Episcopal for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Wren will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 61-48 non-league win over Burke (Charleston, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-4.

The Fury (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Patriots come into the AAA Region 2 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Powdersville prevailed over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 76-53, in a league contest.
