The Panthers now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greater Latrobe for a WPIAL 5A 3 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Franklin Regional will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 82-53 league win over McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.

The Cavaliers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators come into the WPIAL 5A 3 battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Gateway edged Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 49-43, in a league battle.
