Texas High School Basketball - Frisco can't hold off The Colony

The The Colony Cougars basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Frisco Raccoons to 63 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Star for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 9. The Colony will battle a Rangers team coming off a 69-59 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 18-3.
The Raccoons (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Wakeland edged Creekview (Carrollton, TX), 63-52, in a league contest.
