The Sterling Golden Warriors basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks to 44 in the Golden Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Golden Warriors now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Moline United for a Western Big 6 contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Silver Streaks (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maple Leafs come into the Western Big 6 contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Geneseo was routed by Moline (Moline, IL), 61-17, in a league contest.
