The Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), 61-17 in Friday's league test.

The Maroons (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Western Big 6 test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Quincy walloped Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO), 62-49, in a non-league test.

The Maple Leafs now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Galesburg for a Western Big 6 test on Tuesday, January 9. Geneseo will encounter a Silver Streaks squad coming off a 79-44 league loss to Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 6-13.
