The St. Mary's Hawks (Remsen, IA) basketball knocked off the host George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA), 56-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hawks (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA). The Jays go into the War Eagle test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Gehlen Catholic notched a victory over Hinton (Hinton, IA), 62-43, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Boyden-Hull for a Siouxland test on Tuesday, January 9. George-Little Rock will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 70-61 league win over Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Comets record now stands at 4-5.
