In Friday's league outing, the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), by a count of 38-34.
The Spartans (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers go into the non-league outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Loyola Academy held off Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 53-42, in a non-league outing.
The Trevians now hold a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. New Trier will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 66-58 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 6-8.
