Idaho High School Basketball - Weiser knocked off by Gooding

The Gooding Senators basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Weiser Wolverines to 46 in the Senators non-league triumph on Friday.
The Senators now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Filer for a 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho contest on Tuesday, January 9. Gooding will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 77-49 non-league win over Century (Pocatello, ID). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
The Wolverines (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Payette (Payette, ID). The Pirates enter the 3A Snake River Valley contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Payette was defeated by Ontario (Ontario, OR), 63-54, in a non-league contest.
