The Trico Pioneers basketball team (Campbell Hill, IL), was overwhelmed 64-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Goreville Blackcats (Goreville, IL)

The Blackcats now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vienna for a Black Diamond - West battle on Saturday, January 6. Goreville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 83-31 league win over Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-4.

The Pioneers (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Vienna (Vienna, IL). The Eagles come into the Black Diamond - West battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Vienna was overwhelmed by Goreville (Goreville, IL), 74-67, in a league battle.
