The Hartville Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Willow Springs Bears to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield for a Summit contest on Tuesday, January 9. Hartville will battle a Lions team coming off a 75-56 non-league loss to Fair Grove (Fair Grove, MO). The Lions record now stands at 6-5.
The Bears (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Mountain View, MO). The Eagles enter the South Central contest with a 6-2 record.
