The Weston-McEwen TigerScots basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Heppner Mustangs to 49 in the TigerScots league triumph on Friday.

The TigerScots now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanfield for a 2A Blue Mountain contest on Saturday, January 6. Weston-McEwen will battle a Tigers team coming off a 92-25 league win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 6-5.

The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Union (John Day, OR). The Prospectors enter the 2A Blue Mountain contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Grant Union triumphed over Enterprise (Enterprise, OR), 70-56, in a league contest.
