The Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors (Northport, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Hoover, AL), 54-35 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL). The Lightning go into the Alabama Christian Sports test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Evangel Christian went down by Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL), 45-42, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host North River Christian for a AISA A Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 9. Heritage Christian Academy will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 45-30 non-league win over Coosa Valley Academy (Harpersville, AL). The Chargers record now stands at 5-2.
