In Friday's league outing, the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA), by a margin of 72-38.

The Dores (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Clovis North overwhelmed Mountain House (Mountain House, CA), 87-45, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Haybalers play the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Hollister will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 50-43 non-league win over Watsonville (Watsonville, CA).
