The Middle Creek Mustangs basketball team (Apex, NC), was nudged 48-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC)
The Golden Hawks now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Level for a 4A Southeast Wake battle on Tuesday, January 9. Holly Springs will battle a Gators team coming off a 62-50 league win over Cary (Cary, NC). The Gators record now stands at 12-0.
The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps come into the 4A Southeast Wake battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Cary was nudged by Green Level (Cary, NC), 62-50, in a league battle.
