The Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) basketball nipped the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), 73-66 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The J-Hawks go into the Northern Illinois 10 test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Jefferson got by Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 61-51, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a Northern Illinois 10 test on Wednesday, January 10. Hononegah will encounter a J-Hawks squad coming off a 75-63 league loss to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The J-Hawks record now stands at 9-7.
