The Victor Blue Devils (Victor, NY) basketball nipped the host Irondequoit Eagles (Rochester, NY), 68-64 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Hilton (Hilton, NY). The Cadets go into the Section 5 Monroe 1 test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Hilton got by Brighton (Rochester, NY), 94-91, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsford for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 10. Irondequoit will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-37 non-league win over Batavia (Batavia, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 8-2.
