The North Forsyth Raiders basketball team (Cumming, GA), was nudged 61-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA)
The Panthers now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanier for a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Jackson County will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 73-67 league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-8.
The Raiders (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Shiloh (Snellville, GA). The Generals come into the AAAAAA Region 8 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Shiloh edged Apalachee (Winder, GA), 70-33, in a league battle.
