The James Buchanan Rockets basketball team scored 65 points and held the host West Perry Mustangs to 49 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Big Spring for a Mid-Penn - Colonial contest on Tuesday, January 9. James Buchanan will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-45 league win over Northern York (Dillsburg, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-1.

The Mustangs (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA). The Greyhounds enter the Mid-Penn - Colonial contest with a 1-8 record.
