Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals (Ripplemead, VA), 72-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Narrows upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Green Waves travel to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a Pioneer bout on Friday, January 12. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Jefferson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
