Kansas High School Basketball - Jefferson County North fells Valley Falls

Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valley Falls Dragons (Valley Falls, KS), 53-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson County North upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Chargers host Atchison County (Effingham, KS) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Atchison County lost 68-33 in their recent non-league bout against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens (Atchison, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Valley Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
