The Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), 78-74 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Waves (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras go into the 3A Region 7 test with a 3-13 record.
