The Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK) basketball crushed the host McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK), 65-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Ponca City (Ponca City, OK). The Wildcats go into the 6A District 4 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Ponca City was trounced by Millwood (Oklahoma City, OK), 69-33, in a non-league test.
The Buffaloes now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Will Rogers College for a 5A District 4 test on Tuesday, January 9. McAlester will encounter a Ropers squad coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Ropers record now stands at 1-8.
