With the victory, Sehome improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mariners host Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Mount Vernon won 85-50 in their recent league challenge against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bayhawks come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 67-36 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
