Lincoln Abes (Warren, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Abes host Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Norsemen in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Norsemen go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Grosse Pointe North lost 60-45 in their recent league bout against Romeo (Romeo, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) in a Macomb Area - White bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Utica Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 84-62 non-league win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI).
