The Lowell Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams to 55 in the Crusaders league victory on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate for a Commonwealth - Upper contest on Tuesday, January 9. Lowell Catholic will battle a Panthers team coming off a 59-57 league loss to Lynn Vo-Tech (Lynn, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA). The Reggies come into the Commonwealth - Upper contest with a 2-0 record.
