With the victory, Richard improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Hackett Catholic Prep (Kalamazoo, MI) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Hackett Catholic Prep lost 57-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a Catholic Intersectional I challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Lutheran North will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cranes come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 49-32 league loss to Loyola (Detroit, MI).
