The Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Van Vandals (Van, TX), 68-26 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region II District 16 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Lindale walloped Van (Van, TX), 47-42, in a league test.
The Vandals now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a 4A Region II District 16 test on Tuesday, January 9. Van will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 51-43 league win over Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 10-13.
