Arkansas High School Basketball - Magazine can't hold off Valley Christian

The Valley Christian River Hawks basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Magazine Rattlers to 40 in the River Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The River Hawks now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Ministries Academy for a Heartland Christian contest on Tuesday, January 9. Valley Christian will battle a Conquerors team coming off a 82-59 league win over Trinity Christian (Texarkana, AR). The Conquerors record now stands at 16-1.
The Rattlers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, AR). The Little Johns come into the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Danville was nudged by Charleston (Charleston, AR), 73-58, in a league contest.
