Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Manor Mustangs (Manor, TX), 48-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Round Rock upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Dragons host Vandegrift (Austin, TX) to play the Vipers in a 6A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Vipers go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Vandegrift won 81-74 in their recent league bout against McNeil (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Manor will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 72-43 league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX).
