The Mansfield Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Westside Rebels to 44 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hector for a 2A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Mansfield will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-41 non-league win over Danville (Danville, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-8.

The Rebels (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Golden Arrows come into the 2A Region 4 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Lavaca was defeated by West Fork (West Fork, AR), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
