California High School Basketball - Maranatha edges Valley Christian

The Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) basketball nipped the host Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), 63-60 in Friday's league test.

The Minutemen (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Owls go into the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Oakwood got by Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 66-57, in a league test.
