The Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Maynard Tigers (Maynard, AR), 66-36 in Friday's league test.

The Indians (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Armorel (Armorel, AR). The Tigers go into the 1A Region 3 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Armorel was trounced by Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR), 69-58, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hoxie for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Maynard will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-55 league loss to Cave City (Cave City, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.
