In Friday's league outing, the Melcher-Dallas Saints (Melcher, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA), by a margin of 73-57.

The Saints (1-11) will now prepare for their outing against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons come into the Bluegrass bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Lamoni was knocked off by Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 69-41, in a league bout.

Next up, the Warriors play the Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA) in a Bluegrass bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
