The Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR) basketball crushed the host Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR), 66-40 in Friday's league test.
The Lakers (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Mapleton (Mapleton, OR). The Sailors go into the 1A Mountain West test with a 10-2 record.
The Mustangs now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Crow/City First Christian Academy for a 1A Mountain West test on Tuesday, January 9. Mohawk will encounter a squad coming off a 36-20 league win over McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR). The record now stands at 4-5.
