With the victory, North Davidson improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Grizzlies in a 3A Mid-Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Oak Grove lost 72-64 in their recent league challenge against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)

Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a 3A Mid-Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Montgomery Central will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 76-45 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
