Minnesota High School Basketball - Pierz knocked off by Mora

The Mora Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Pierz Pioneers to 48 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Christian Academy for a AA Section 6 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Mora will battle a Lions team coming off a 94-49 non-league win over Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN). The Lions record now stands at 11-2.
The Pioneers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Cardinals enter the AA Section 7 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Staples-Motley was defeated by Henning (Henning, MN), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
