Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT), 63-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. Abraham upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles host Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT) to play the Slaters in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Slaters go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Fair Haven lost 71-62 in their recent non-league bout against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) in a Southern Vermont - A bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA).
