Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights (Williamsport, PA) and the visiting South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA), saw Neumann Regional Academy's basketball squad overcome South Williamsport by a tally of 57-40.

With the victory, Neumann Regional Academy improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Millville (Millville, PA) to play the Quakers in a Midd-Penn challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Millville lost 55-41 in their recent league challenge against Sullivan County (Laporte, PA)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) in a Midd-Penn challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. South Williamsport will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 72-50 league win over Sullivan County (Laporte, PA).
