In Friday's league match, the host New Home Leopards basketball team scored a decisive 80-44 triumph over the Seagraves Eagles.
In their next game, the Leopards meet the Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. New Home will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
Next up, the Eagles play the Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Seagraves will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Roughnecks come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 73-21 league loss to New Home (New Home, TX).
