In Friday's non-league outing, the New Manna Christian Wind (Marion, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC), by a count of 65-42.

The Wind (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots go into the NCCSA A West Region 1 outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Victory Christian Academy smashed Southview Christian (Statesville, NC), 84-76, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Chargers play the Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC) in a NCCSA A West Region 2 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Rockwell Christian School will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 79-54 non-league loss to Southview Christian (Statesville, NC).
