Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK), 76-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Seward upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Homer (Homer, AK) to clash with the Mariners in a 3A Peninsula bout on Saturday, January 6. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Homer won 50-39 in their recent league bout against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Metlakatla Chiefs (Metlakatla, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Nikiski will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
