North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Poland Knights (Poland, ME), 88-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Yarmouth Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Waynflete (Portland, ME) to play the Flyers in a C South bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Waynflete won 56-29 in their recent league bout against Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME)

Next up, the Knights play the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Poland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 43-20 league win over North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
