The Stephen-Argyle Central Storm basketball team (Stephen, MN), was toppled 53-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze (Newfolden, MN)

The Northern Freeze now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goodridge/Grygla for a A Section 8 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] will confront a Chargers team coming off a 84-77 non-league win over Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 9-3.

The Storm (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN). The Gators come into the A Section 8 battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River was toppled by Warren-Alvarado-Oslo (Warren, MN), 88-34, in a league battle.
