The Oasis Academy Bighorns basketball team (Fallon, NV), was nudged 60-53 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV)

The Lions now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Incline for a 2A Northern battle on Saturday, January 6. Yerington will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 61-18 league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-2.

The Bighorns (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Lakers come into the 2A Northern battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, North Tahoe was nudged by Pershing County (Lovelock, NV), 73-67, in a league battle.
