The Richard Winn Academy Eagles basketball team (Winnsboro, SC), was nudged 41-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Our Lady of the Rosary Lions (Greenville, SC)
The Lions now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King Academy for a SCISA A Region IV battle on Thursday, January 11. Our Lady of the Rosary will confront a Knights team coming off a 62-44 league loss to Laurens Academy (Laurens, SC). The Knights record now stands at 0-7.
The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oconee Christian Academy (Seneca, SC). The Warriors come into the SCISA A Region IV battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Oconee Christian Academy edged Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC), 56-50, in a league battle.
