The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Steel Valley Ironmen to 40 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quaker Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will battle a Quakers team coming off a 46-45 league loss to West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 6-4.

The Ironmen (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL 3A 2 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Sto-Rox was routed by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 57-52, in a league contest.
