The Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats basketball team (Augusta, GA), dropped 50-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA)
The Patriots now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robert Toombs Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, January 8. Pinewood Christian will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-4.
The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Bulloch Academy prevailed over Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA), 71-40, in a non-league battle.
