The Towers Titans basketball team (Decatur, GA), was nudged 64-61 in Friday's league battle with the host Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA)
The Raiders now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host McNair for a AA Region 5 battle on Saturday, January 6. Redan will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 79-50 league loss to Columbia (Decatur, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-12.
The Titans (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA). The War Eagles come into the AA Region 5 battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Landmark Christian was nudged by Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 75-63, in a league battle.
