Nebraska High School Basketball - Sandhills/Thedford routs Sutherland

In Friday's non-league outing, the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Sutherland Sailors (Sutherland, NE), by a margin of 66-35.

The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE). The Coyotes go into the D2 District 9 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Anselmo-Merna was trounced by St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE), 66-38, in a non-league outing.

The Sailors now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Perkins County for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6. Sutherland will clash with a Plainsmen squad coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE). The Plainsmen record now stands at 7-3.
