The Santiam Christian Eagles basketball team (Corvallis, OR), was nudged 54-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR)

The Tigers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheridan for a 3A PacWest battle on Tuesday, January 9. Taft will battle a Spartans team coming off a 59-52 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 4-8.

The Eagles (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Western Christian was nudged by Regis (Stayton, OR), 63-58, in a league battle.
